Irish Times Magazine

Irish Times Magazine ran a small feature on FRANC following the launch of issue two, written by Deirdre McQuillan.

"The second issue of Franc, a bi-annual magazine exploring fashion "as an in-depth effort with a dose of humour", has been launched by its editors, TCD students Briony Somers and Lauren Henshaw. Somers, who worked as a fashion model for John Rocha, has an essay arguing that fashion's cultural output should be valued "for how it makes us feel". Clementine Yost reveals how a dress became her armour, Isobel D'Arcy describes the consequences of losing her mother's prized jumper on a pub crawl and Brian Teeling discusses his obsession with workwear. The spreads were shot in Dublin." — Deirdre McQuillan
